Sunil to HockeyÂs rescue

Muscle man Sunil Shetty along with AMR Sports Foundation, founded by industrialist A. Mahesh Reddy have come forward to save Indian Hockey.
Sources say that they will organize a charity match between Bollywood stars and the Indian Hockey team. Sources also say that Sunil will ask all his colleagues and other celebrities to cheer the Indian team during the Hockey World cup that will happen in Delhi this month.
The AMR Sports foundation took up this initiative along with ex-hockey player Mr.Hardeep Sandhu, as cricket has been receiving lot of attention and the national sport has been ignored. It has been learnt that the charity match will happen in Chandigarh. All the proceeds of the match will go to the hockey players.
Among the actors, so far Govinda and Ritesh Deshmukh have confirmed. Cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Kapil Dev will also be seen. We will have to see if Shahrukh, the coach of the womenÂs hockey team will participate. Arrey yaar not the real coach, remember he was the coach in ÂChak De Â? Apparently a personal invite has been sent to him.
Looks like everyone has woken up finally to give hockey its due... Chak De India!
